About Us

Cheeky Monkees Childminding is a small group of Registered Childminders living in Calne, Wiltshire. We are all Ofsted approved, CRB checked, First Aid Trained and Insured. We offer warm, loving and safe home environments that provide a stimulating, home-based experience with a strong emphasis on “Learning through play”.

We can:

• Usually care for brothers and sisters together
• Take children to and from school
• Can be more flexible about hours
• Care for small groups of children, so can give each child more individual attention
• Find it easier to go on outings to the park, library and other local sites, which means your child can get out and about
• Help children learn about the world using everyday activities – weighing fruit at the shops, baking something for tea, etc
• Offer childcare that is eligible for financial support

As a group, we meet once a fortnight at a local soft play venue and we offer fun days and events outside of the group session, such as organising and taking part in the Barnardo's Big Toddle, outings to local attractions such as Butterfly World or getting together for a fun sports day in the Summer.

We intend to become a valuable resource for local Childminders with vacancies or needing information and families looking for affordable, quality childcare.
